01 — The Lab

Every great product begins as a single point of light — faint, distant, easy to miss. Astartis Lab is a small, independent studio from Slovenia that finds those points and helps them shine.

What we build Web apps Android apps
  1. i.

    Local first

We build for Slovenian users and the Slovenian language first. Local context is the point, not an afterthought.

  2. ii.

    Precise by design

Every answer should be traceable to its source. We check the details twice — and then once more.

  3. iii.

    Quietly respectful

No dark patterns, no noise. Products that respect your time, your attention and your data.

02 — Constellation

The stars in our sky

Each product is its own point of light — independent, focused and built to last. Support for all of them lives in one place.

03 — The name

Astartis is the star that rises first.

You won’t find Astartis in any star catalogue. It’s the star we imagine on the horizon just before dawn — the first point of light, before the day begins.

Astronomers have a name for that moment: the heliacal rising — the first morning a star appears again after weeks hidden in the Sun’s glare. In ancient Egypt, the return of Sirius announced the Nile flood and the new year.

We named the lab after that moment. Every product we make is meant to be one: a first light.
